Hats and Mittens

For twenty years Zwingli has generously supported our popular Hat and Mitten Tree project by purchasing or making hats, mittens and scarves for at risk boys and girls of all ages in Adams County. Distribution is done through the non-for-profit Holiday Outreach Bureau organization in Gettysburg. The project kick-off is in early winter in order to take advantage of after holiday sales. We’ve averaged 1000 items collected per year with the 2021 total reaching 1,794 hats, mittens and scarves.
